Our mission is to reduce light pollution on both small scale, and on a larger nationwide scale.

We do that by helping communities and individuals monitor and document light pollution, and by issuing certificates of approval for those areas with well managed light pollution.

We also help with advice on how to limit light pollution from lamps, and with recommendations for replacing existing fixtures with new, more efficient ones.
